I am delighted to write you and let you know how very happy we are that we hired Taylor's Nailers to construct our long-awaited addition. It has been several months since you completed the addition, and we are so pleased that we hired you. The process of working with you was wonderful; from start to finish; you were professional, resourceful, and a great problem-solver, open to last minute ideas and changes.
Thanks for your ideas, sketches, and blueprints in the planning and design of the addition; you showed great creativity in how to blend the rooflines so the addition looks as if it was part of the original design of 40 years ago. The attention to the small architectural details, such as the angles of the cuts on the window trim, makes this integration happen. In addition, getting through the dreaded planning and permitting process with the City of Oakland was very simple and straightforward, thanks to your experience and guidance.
We love the woodwork and the quality of the work shows nicely. We thoroughly enjoy the new rooms and the glass French doors and sunlight give that windowless inside room lots of light.
In addition, we enjoyed having your crew in our lives and yard for three months!

I highly recommend Tom Taylor of Taylor’s Nailers. He
rebuilt our garage into a workshop/home office (with ½
bath). It was pretty much a total demo and he was
able to help us navigate things with the city, and was
able to produce a top quality job within our budget.
He works on a bid basis which is great, and sticks to
his quotes and timetables (he lets you know right away
when requests are getting out of budget and is quick
with change orders). He does everything from demo, to
foundation, heavy structural, new roof, plumbing,
electrical and nice finish work. We never felt he or
his workers were sitting around or wasting any time.
We found him to be very ethical, straight forward, and
fast, all things I cannot say for every contractor out
there. Bottom line, we love our new space also, it is
perfect. If you are a good communicator and know what
